Andrew Walsh

Great race I loved the test day the day before more as it was raining and I just love overtaking radicals and touring cars all day

Race day was a bit more dramatic I had a problem in qualifying where the rear handbrake caliper did not release but made no difference for the first lap so lucky Dave Harvey caused a red flag on the second lap my car cooled down I made one fast lap on my first lap then the rear locked up and tried to put me off the track, but lucky I caught the slide into paddock and druids and drove it into the pits with the smoking and the disk so red you could see through it, very pretty

The sincs boys disconnected the hand brake cable and all seemed fine then I put the number plates back on and went for a drive but it stuck on The realised Geary had a trade stand for the day so run over got a new rear caliper and sincs fitted it for me

First bedding in of the new pads was race one bend one.

The race its self was great pulled a gap on mark and managed to maintain the gap always on the edge of pushing too far and loosing the tyre adhesion cooling them down while mark got through traffic then having to go again when he got through the traffic, never been in a car for 20 Min's that seemed like an hour before, all the drivers that were on the track in race one were brilliant and aware of where me and mark were most of the time THANKS, well except graham Walsh who was a bit too involved with his first race to notice the 2 waved blue flags mark thanks you for that, but it was his first ever race poor lad.

Second race was not one I would want to do again but I made it to the end of it some how . As for Randy knew he was running a risk and has posted that he wanted to be out testing earlier in the year but has spent to much time helping others, the man is a gent one example being even though him and mark were clearly my main competition at this round he was still willing to show me how to remove more weight of my car with a cage design that was different to the one nearly everyone else is running.

Hence when finding out he had drive shaft issue I sourced a new one for him from sincs but unfortunately for him (lucky for me) the m25 was shut so turned up too late and he had not raced there in the last 12 months so could not enter at the back it would have been great to see him cut through the field.

Great to see all the others making it to the grid like skeggs, jez and steave especially.

Well done to paul and jez for the initial idea of the series and thanks to all the others that made this great series passable.

And an obvious thanks to Sinclair's of London for my car.
