| Jez Braker was raised by his father Junks on Wimbledon Common. He has been famous from an early age with his esoteric lifestyle subject of a long-running TV documentary ("Scrapyard Challenge").
More resourceful than Alaskan tar sands, amongst 2007's many projects included the fitting of a Rover T Series in his race car engine for the sheer hell of it. It was a qualified success - partly because the wiring loom alone contained 560kgs of copper. Projects for 2008 apparently include using either an automaton or reaniminated human for a driver. Jez carries with him a shovel and lightning conductor at all times.
Jez was involved in one of the scandals of 2007 when, paid by fellow driver Hans Baumhardt, he snored his way through the night before Oulton Park, severely compromising driver room-mate James Knight. Later in 2007 Jez's snoring failed a drive-by test at Bedford.
Jez's favourite position is arse high in the engine bay. His hands were last clean in 1977.
Racing Aspirations: To keep the car and Jaques the right way up in 2007, something he couldn't manage in the BMW.
