Preparation
If your car is already track ready you should be able to get the required MINIMUM safety equipment prepared for less than £3000 if going through one of the garages currently supporting cars in the series. Safety is of key importance so we have specified the MINIMUM safety requirements within the series regulations. If you get stuck on anything here use the Car/Driver Preparation forum to ask for help.
Mandatory car safely equipment
- Battery isolator and cut off
- Plumbed in fire extinguishing system
- Roll cages
- Seat and harness
- MST compliant transponder
- Front and rear towing eyes
